Hi No Clapping No Cool,
On behalf of PIAS, Jagjaguwar and Dinosaur Jr, we would kindly ask you not to post copies of "Farm" on your site (or any non-preview tracks from the artist's new album - US street date 23rd June).
We do appreciate that you are fans of / are promoting Dinosaur Jr, but the labels and artist would greatly appreciate your co-operation in removing your links to the pirate files in question.
Thanks for respecting the artist's and labels' wishes and, if you / your readers want good quality, non-pirated, previews, then "I Want You To Know", "Over It" and the b-side "Tarpit" (live) are all officially available for fans and bloggers to link to / post / host etc ... .. for further info and details of on-line promotions, videos and the band's 2009 shows, check-out www.dinosaurjr.com and www.myspace.com/dinosaurjr .
As you will appreciate, this post is written on a without prejudice basis and, as such, all of our clients' accumulated, worldwide rights and remedies remain strictly reserved : please excuse this required formality.
If any artist or label has a problem with any of the albums featured on this site, please let me know @ thejamesonking@gmail.com and I will remove the offending link as quickly as I can. No links will be replaced once I have received a request for removal.
Conversely if you are a band, signed or unsigned, looking for some exposure, feel free to drop me an email and a link to your material and I will be more than happy to post about you.
As a disclaimer, none of these links are my own, nor am I uploading any of this music myself, I am using googleblogsearch to find these links and am merely posting them in a convenient location for music fans.
Any files downloaded are your own responsibility. Typical protocol is to download and then delete after 24 hours.
If you like what you hear buy an album or at least see the band live or buy some merch.
To download an album, click on the album artwork and follow the links.
You will need to download a copy of of winrar, which can be found here, to be able to open the downloaded file.
Once the file is downloaded you will need to extract the files using winrar.
If the file has a password you will be able to find it in the comments tab underneath the album artwork.
Once the files have been extracted, drag the album into your chosen media player... and all should be good. If you find the file types aren't playable on your media player you can download a free audio converter here.
P.S. If you come across a link that is dead please let me know and I will attempt to replace it. If you have any queries/dramas it is always best to email me as comments are easily overlooked.
