Super debut album from this excellent emo/indie/math rock band. They posses one of the most recognizable guitar sounds around.

American Football - American Football (1999)

A indie/emo album of the highest order, American Football are a largely unknown band that split in the early 00's, the group was started by multi instrumentalist Mike Kinsella (joan of arc, owls, cap'n jazz). This is a gorgeous listen.

Toe - New Sentimentality (2008)

Toe are a Japanese post rock/math rock band, their EP "New Sentimentality" is one of my favourite releases. The highlight is the brilliant drumming of 柏倉隆史. Beatuiful record. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
