IntoXication - Geladen & Entsichert (2009)

The young newcomer-band „IntoXication“ was founded in April 2008 by the two 15-year-old members Johannes and Daniel from Bolzano who dedicated themselves to music in their basement. After some lineup changes regarding guitar and bass as well as vocals, the band finally found its best functioning constellation in spring 2009: Front lady Carolin Zeller (Caro) on the mic, Daniel Bachman (Dani) on lead guitar, Martin Mayr (Maddin, Chippi) on rhythm guitar, Johannes Oberkofler (Jotze) on drums and Christian Schwarz on bass guitar.

Now it was finally time to get down to business: The punkrock quintet recorded its very first demo-EP titled “Falsch gedacht” including three catchy punksongs with – and that’s something you won`t find everyday listening to Southtyrolean bands – german lyrics. Right now Caro, Daniel, Martin, Johannes and Christian are ready to bring you some new tunes presenting their first full-length studio album “Geladen & Entsichert”. This record will rock even harder than the band’s first EP and it will be released on “Airbagpromo Records” in summer 2009. Gogol Bordello - Super Taranta! (2007)

Here is something a little different for you. An album of crazy gypsy punk rock. Completely over the top and outrageous this is a really fun listen. These guys should have been enlisted to do the soundtrack for the Borat movie.

Blink-182 - Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001)

For me anyway, this was the turning point for this band, when they really started to make some memorable music, some really cool pop punk.

Blink-182 - Blink-182 (2003)

A pop punk album of the highest quality, easily their most polished album. Such a shame they called it quits when they did, a reunion is on the cards though, so something cool could be just around the crner.
